Our commitment
We aim for the website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable and to improve it when a barrier is identified.
1. Accessibility features
- Responsive layouts that work at narrow mobile widths and support browser zoom.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms and before-and-after comparison controls.
- Visible focus indicators and logical heading structure.
- Text labels for form controls and status or error messages announced to assistive technology.
- Alternative text for meaningful photographs and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences.
- No autoplaying video, flashing content or audio.
2. Before-and-after images
Comparison controls use a standard range input. They can be operated with a pointer, touch or keyboard arrow keys, and expose the current before-and-after percentage to assistive technology. Descriptive alternative text identifies the before and after photographs.
3. Known limitations
Project photography conveys visual finish and colour that cannot be reproduced completely in text. The accompanying service descriptions and alternative text provide a concise equivalent, and detailed information can be requested directly.
Some older devices or browsers may render visual effects differently, but essential content and contact methods should remain available.
4. Get information in another format
If you need information from this website in a different format, or would prefer to discuss a service by telephone, contact Nicholas using:
nick@decorbynick.com07541 178413Please describe the page or information needed and the format that would help. A reasonable effort will be made to respond promptly.
5. Report an accessibility problem
If something is difficult to use, send the page address, device or browser used and a short description of the problem to nick@decorbynick.com. Feedback will be reviewed and a practical correction considered.
6. How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared through a review of page structure, keyboard interaction, responsive layouts, form labels, focus behaviour, image alternatives and automated browser checks. Accessibility should be reviewed again after substantial design or functionality changes.
